What You’ll Need:

Mayonnaise Deep Conditioner DIY - Simple Truth

¾ Cup of Mayonnaise

Star of the show

Nature Nate's Raw & Unfiltered Honey

1 tbsp of Honey

  • It’s a humectant, attracting and helping to maintain moisture in the hair by helping to hold onto water molecules in the air
  • Anti-bacterial
  • Helps prevent split ends
  • Helps soften hair
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tbsp of Olive Oil

  • Contains anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health
  • Contains nutrients like vitamin E which promotes hair growth
  • Improves manageability, strength, & shine

Directions:

+ Add the mayonnaise, honey, & olive oil into a bowl, & mix thoroughly. Store in the fridge until intended use.

+ Apply the mayonnaise deep conditioner to freshly cleansed, damp hair from root to end, the way you would a conditioner. I like to do this following up my DIY clay wash. Focus on the ends as they are the oldest part of your hair, work in sections if needed!

+ Cover hair with plastic bag/cap & let sit for 30 minutes to an hour. You can use a hooded dryer or steamer for extra penetration, or just let the heat from your head do all the work. Rinse and proceed to style as desired.

This has recently become my favorite deep conditioner, my strands love it, & so does my wallet! I love this DIY because it’s easy, leaves my hair feeling soft, moisturized and best of all, makes my curls pop!

Enjoy and let me know how it works for you in the comments below!
